Barney Frank gets it right
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15132749/site/newsweek/

"...The hypocrisy of the Republicans is that they have more concern for a gay man who misbehaves than for fair treatment of gays who don’t misbehave..."

"...Gay Republicans were already on shaky ground because they were part of such an anti-gay party. They are more of them than you would think. This is a real crisis, since , gays in the Republican Party were willing to be tolerated, but now they may not even get that. It could be a witch hunt, since now there is the sense within the party that “you are causing us trouble...”

9. Oh yea, no disagreement here

The guy is just too damn smart for his own good. I love the guy and he represents the thinking we need leading this nation.

5. I've never understood.....
why they subject themselves to the prejudice, name calling, etc. It's like the GOP says just write us a check every election cycle, and STFU. Maybe now they'll take this chance to revolt?

8. It really is pathological ...
How ANY gay or lesbian could align themselves with a party that has as one of it's main foundations hating gays and lesbians ... There has to be some SERIOUS cognitive dissonance there ...
