House GOP investigated Iraq moved WMD to Syria claim, came up empty

One such source Hoekstra touted was Georges Sada, a one-time Iraqi Air Force general who claimed in a book published earlier this year that he knew of hundreds of tons of chemical weapons being flown from Iraq to Syria prior to the U.S. invasion. Sada, who first made the claims to promote his book, admitted he never actually saw any of the weapons. But his allegations were prominently featured on Fox News and conservative media outlets. Hoekstra met with Sada and later dispatched House Intelligence Committee staffers overseas in an effort to verify the Iraqi's claims. That search, too, came up emtpy.

2. Syria & Hussein were not on good terms (to put it mildly).
So only really ignorant morans would ever think Syria would say "hey enemy, of course we'll accept all your "WMD" and make ourselves a total target to be wiped off the map! Glad to do it, you bastard!"

Just like Hussein and Osama nin Laden/al Qaeda were and are absolute enemies who still would love to kill each other, and only really ignorant morans would ever think Hussein & OBL/al Qaeda had were or would work together.

But FACTS and simple common sense are not something rightwingnuts deal in.

3. LOL

This business about moving this stuff makes no sense. If Hussein wanted us dead and had these weapons then why didn't he just use them? DOH!

5. Logic defies these reality deniers.
It's pretty obvious that AWOL and 5 Deferments wouldn't have invaded if there was a chance that nukes/chemical weapons could have been used by Hussein. It wasn't until the UN signaled an "all clear" that they went ahead and invaded.
