1. We need to give support to these states....
Tennessee: Ford (D)
Missouri: McCaskill (D)
New Jersey: Menendez (D)
Virginia: Webb (D)

All in good striking distance...especially with the hope the Dems will go out and vote in droves.

5. Absolutely!
Yes, we need to keep the pressure on all of the "Weak Dem" (light blue) states as well.

Light blue should send up red flags..
If a race is close it only takes a little fudging of numbers to steal a race. We need very large margins to make an election theft very hard although impossible to steal is only a pipe dream, for now.

I read that Allen has spent 6 Million and has still 6 Million cash on hand while Webb doesn't even have half a million cash on hand and only 700k spent. Talent raised 15 Million more than McCaskill...Some Dems definately need more money while others are sitting on their millions.
We need to win all of those for the case that Lieberman wins.

14. Talent has tons of TV ads from the RNC also
you cant watch TV for 10 minutes without seeing something calling McCaskill a liar, flip flopper, or worse.

2. Damn Indiana is right next to us here in Illinois
Edited on Thu Oct-05-06 10:30 AM by djohnson
Makes me feel dirty just being so close. Still strong Republicans after all that has happened. I knew there was something seriously wrong with them.

18. I'm just a few miles from Indiana and I can tell you there's PLENTY
that's seriously wrong on that side of Stateline Road.

About 10 years ago, they managed to have a major racial incident in a school district where all the students were the same race.

No offense meant to any enlightened Hoosiers that may be around, but I gotta say you're living in the midst of some Big Crazy. (Which is not to say we don't have some Big Crazy going on here in Illinois, but it's all a matter of degree.)

12. We can only hope.
Kerry's concession was a big disappointment to us all, but considering that the case would be decided by a Supreme Court who already put Bush in office once, he really didn't have much of an option. Not to mention that Bill Rehnquist engaged in 'caging' activities in NewMexico in the 1960s. It's not easy to get a judge to find against someone who has committed the same crimes that he did in his youth.

9. Other numbers from a superb site
http://www.electionprediction.us/
House: D 221; R 214
Governors: D 28(+6), R 22

I wonder why no one mentioned the Governor races as the Dems are doing so well there.

10. Lookin pretty good right now.
Hell, if we can keep things just like this we're good to go. We need to focus on NJ, get Clinton over there and the like. He's in Philly today for Sestak who is running for the House. My brother may actually get to meet a good President! Neither of us are fans of his, but compared to Bush he walks on water. What does this projection do with Sanders, the Independant in Vermont? He's pretty much got the race won. I think he will caucus as a Democrat.

16. Heh.
4 million bucks of his own money, and the most repulsive political ads I've ever seen in this state, and Richie "Rich" has gained maybe 2 points on Bernie. I love this.

17. Minnesota?
Minnesota is not a weak Democratic state for the Senate Race. I haven’t seen a poll that doesn’t show Amy with a double digit lead.

21. I love that site!

I check it every day, it was up back in 2004 for that election as well. Seems to be pretty spot on. Polls taken after the Foley thing should be starting to show up in the next few days.
