What is america doing in Iraq if...
the Iraqis are getting bombed on the street and then are being taken to the hospital and murdered. What sense does that make. I heard this on CBS news some Iraqis I believe the Sunnis are killin the shia's after they arrive. So what the hell does stay the course mean?

1. It's a meaningless phrase at this point
If they need outside security forces at this point, they shouldn't be from the United States; we've built up more than enough bad will to last a good while.

7. I don't know if that is directed at me
I was stay the course for quite a while, and while we should never have invaded, it's certianly possible that things didn't have to be as bad as they are now, with some smarter moves earlier on this process. But of course we are well past that now.

Halliburton, Cheney and * can control the oilfields.......this is what they have done..

5. What exactly are the contractors doing...
are they building schools ,homes etc... or just transporting food to our soldiers and protecting the oil fields...
