As a parent, that sickens me. So the parents of this ONE kid didn't want the media publicity. They weren't brave enough to stand up and tell their story. Probably they are just super loyal republicans (that's the kind of families that put kids in page programs). So they say to drop it, then Hastert tells Foley to "knock it off. keep your shorts clean". Case closed??

Is there anywhere else in the world where crime is policed like that?? If any victim says no crime, even if it's obvious, the police just walk away?? This is just an example of good-old boy country club policing.

Basically, Hastert just admitted in this press conference that he helped a pedophile cover his tracks. Great leadership, Denny.

CREW forwarded the email (it was much more than overly friendly - it was predatory) on July 21, 2006. All that the FBI did was talk with Members of Congress. I wonder who? However, the FBI were good Germans and dropped it. I wonder if they told Gonzo?

If we let that mole Louie Freeh investigate this it will be a complete white wash.

CNN reported that Nancy Pelosi does NOT want Louie Freeh to head the independent investigation.
