1. Only five of those deaths are due to IEDs.
That would seem to indicate that this is turning into a real shooting war. If the pentagon is trying to keep casualties down in the month before an election like they did in 2004, November is going to be a blood bath.

2. yep
November 2004 was the worst month, 137 US Troops died, Im guessing November 2006 will be the same.
