3. We need it bigger than that
So that when, say for example, Jim McGovern again brings up his bill to cut off funding for the war (which he will, don't doubt it). Repukes can whine and wail and gnash their teeth, but they won't be able to stop it's passage

I'd love to see at least a 30 seat pickup.

If we don't win both houses, the media will trumpet how Republics managed to hold on despite Bush's low ratings and all the scandals...

Don't forget, they count Lieberman as a Dem and I don't know how reliable he will be..
NJ looks better now but I'm worried about Missouri and Virginia were the Repubs have great financial advantages. Tennessee looks too close.

We shouldn't be too optimistic too early when the Repubs could still manage to get 52 Senate seats...
