How the Replug VA Budget cuts hurt a average veteran

Budget cuts, underfunding and understaffing are taking a toll on the average veteran. This means longer waiting list and denied services. Here a personal example I take three medications it cost me about $340 a month. There is approximately a one-year wait for appointment at the hospital. No appoinment means no medications for me.

The current batch of do-nothing Replugs on Capitol Hill rave about the money pouring into the VA Budget that they did not pass.But, even if they did pass it. Its just smoke- and-mirrors.

With more new veterans coming into the system from Bush's wars and us older veterans needing more medical care, the VA budget is not going to keep up with demand. So when you hear these Replugs say we support the troops and veterans its just a lie. Just like Hastert did today. By the way our FY 2007 Budget is still in his dam inbox.
