5. He is a different breed...

Murrow made people on the side of McCarthy wake up and see him for what he was, I don't think Keith accomplishes that, unfortunately. The sad thing is we need a full on Murrow, someone who will not just condemn the President, but someone who will carry enough weight with the Republicans and make them wake up and understand how bad their conduct has been.

to support those in power, Keith sticks out like a sore thumb and won't compromise his principles.

It's a different story today than it was in McCarthy's era - though I wasn't born then, I think the situation with this country along with media complicity, makes this a bigger mountain for Keith Olbermann to climb.
