46% - Resign from CONGRESS altogether
20% - Resign the leadership position
30% - Remain an elected douche

Not looking good. We may very well knock this guy off in his own district in the upcoming elections the way the GOP knocked off the Dem Speaker of the House back in 1994.

79% say that the GOP did not do enough to stop Foley and investigate the matter. That's easily the majority of Republican voters too.

2. Are those polls from his district?
It would be poetic justice for TOM Foley if we knock off Haster (DeLay wasn't enough.) Also, Ford winning Frist's Senate seat will be payback for Daschle.

3. Once his Repug colleagues see these numbers....
They'll dump him on the refuse pile with Katherine Harris, Tom Delay, Scooter Libby, Jack Abramoff and so on.

4. That rock solid 30-35% that thinks this is all a Democratic Party ploy

and Hastert walks on water. Friggin' dangerous people. Unfortunately, they are allowed to vote despite their known delusionalism.

6. this is great for our candidates..
I hope our party takes advantage of this. Remember the ads in 1994 that merged Clinton's face into every beatable Democrat in Congress. Now we need our own ads, that merge Foley's and Hastert's faces into Bush's and every Republican running this year!

Let's give these Grubby Old Pedophiles a taste of their own medicine :spank:
