Poll question: Should the word Olbermann be added to DU's spell check dictionary?
Seems to me that DU's spell check function should automatically recognize the word Olbermann, just as it recognizes words like hope, freedom and exhilaration.

In my opinion, DU's spell check should not ask if we mean Albertan, Alderman, and especially not Lieberman! (Those are currently the top three alternatives to Olbermann.)

Should the word "Olbermann" be added to DU's spell check dictionary?

1. I recently saw him for the first time, don't watch tv, no cable, etc
slow internet. Got reamed out last month by a DUer because I must be lying if I didn't know who he was. Oh well. So, I am active politically but do not know how to spell his name. Thank you.

2. One alternative to the lack of Olbermann in your diet...
...would be to have a friend who has a fast connection download and burn to CD some of Olbermann's recent special commentaries.

It gives the progressive listener hope to see that someone with a large audience is consistently standing up to the lies coming from the right.

5. The bits I have heard have been very encouraging.
knowing that there are people out there actually saying this stuff. On the other hand, it makes me feel bad that things really are as bad as they are, bad enough that there are people out there actually saying this stuff.

4. You're not alone...I haven't watched network news or even cable news
for years now...and until recently, Olbermann was NOT on my radar. I managed to miss getting reamed out, though.

11. I agree - it's one of the main reasons...
...spell check exists: to correct errant keystrokes.

Any one of us can make a typo. That's the main reason that I edit my posts, LOL. I wish that more people would use it...:eyes:

BTW, LOL isn't in the spell check lexicon, either...:D

on edit: In case you haven't noticed, you're one short of a significant milestone...:hi: Second thoughts are my second reason for editing posts...:D
