3. Become very vocal about the destruction of the Union
about the false idolatry of the false pResident
about the ovine behavior of the average American
about propagandistic exploitation of the "Red, White and Blue"
about just how stupid and accepting and incurious the parrots are
about the falsehoods that swallowed and regurgitated every day
about how I have come to fear abuse by law enforcement because no one questions their actions or behavior since 9/11
about how we are led to the slaughter and love the trip
about how hope has died and not been remembered
about managing my anger and depression
about how helpless I am alone to rectify these travesties

4. I look at 1930s Germany with different eyes now
I remember, back in school, trying to figure out how on earth the Germans who were around for Kristalnacht, etc., could possibly have *let* it happen. After all, I always figured, there was no way that all of them were evil bastards.

Little did I ever suspect that 20-ish years later, I'd understand - it doesn't take all of them being evil... Just a few and leaving everyone else powerless.

7. Drink Starbucks, work, watch ABC and Fox, go hiking, fishing...
drive around in my SUV, hang out at bars and watch sports, play with my cats...

Basically, the same things I would be doing otherwise, except I'm probably more politically active than I would be otherwise. I'd still be a Democrat, but I probably would get out there and protest, encourage people to vote et cetera.

8. Five Years Of Fascism have caused me to
not be able to sleep at night. 4am here and I have yet to go to bed.
After reading the latest on * and his signing statements, I'm convinced, without a doubt of two things.

1. He is insane. Heading down that slippery slope to madness.

2. He is doing EVERYTHING within his power to become the first dictator of the US.
And he's doing it quickly, just in case the Dems take control next month. * won't go.
He's fricking nuts.

I am more and more convinced that he will have to be physically removed from office.
Where the hell are the Americans? I don't care if you have an R or a D after your name. When someone starts acting like * is acting, tearing apart the Constitution, making his own 'laws,' yammering on all over the country, lying through his teeth, my God, WHERE ARE THE AMERICANS in office? THEY have to do something and they have to do it now. On both sides of the fence. I don't want to believe that the repukes really don't care about this country. But I don't see anything to prove otherwise.

God, let me hit the lotto this week so I can move. And sure, go ahead and tell me to "run away coward."

I'm not a coward. I'm sane. I don't want to live in a country run by an insane dictator.

9. I curse like a drunken sailor; am distrustful of ALL 'authority'; have
developed 2 new ulcers ( already had ONE); and loathe, LOATHE all things Republican.
These days, to say one is a Republican means to me that you are either incredibly stupid, or just plain corrupt, and I do not suffer fools gladly.
I have gone from a sweet-natured (generally speaking)young lady to a disillusioned misanthrope in the space of 5 horrible years.
My two little boys, Xanax, and the knowledge that someday, SOMEDAY, I will get to watch the Bush Regime collapse spectacularly under the weight of it's own lies and incompetence keeps me going.
