Okay, what's next?

I hate to be pessimistic, but this story (Foley) will eventually fade and a new one will ultimately surface. Four and half weeks is a long way away, and anything can pop up and turn the tide against the Democrats. What will it be, and do the Dems or Republicans have anything up their sleeve?

I think the most disappointing thing that has happened because of the Foley scandal is the lack of coverage of the Woodward book. If only it would have come out after the Foley story went away.

What about Colin Powell? Any chance we can get him to make the rounds on all of the usual talk shows? His approval and credibility ratings are high (at least with Joe Blow American), and his dislike for Bush has to be at an all time high.

Any other books coming out?
