tenderhearted where kids are concerned. Kids being preyed on will not go over with him.

Now if he would quit enabling Joe Lieberman...

8. took Imus long enough to shut Hayworth down
but at least he finally did.
Hayworth was driving me nuts with all those lies.

These repukes are so silly and are not making
any points. But they do make it very apparent
to anyone paying attention that they obstructing,
and that they are very afraid.

9. He let J.D. dig his own grave
The guy running against him just needs to show that in his TV spots and it will be all over for J.D. as a congressman.

12. Yes he let him come out with all that George Soros Shit
Edited on Fri Oct-06-06 08:05 AM by mduffy31
...and talking about Pelosi and then destroyed him...IT WAS FANTASTIC. Between that and the way that he has been laying into Barton from Texas for killing the Autism bill this is great. I know that a lot of people don't like him for things, I personally like him but I don't like his position on people like Santorum and Heyworth, but he is right on a lot of things. It doesn't matter about what happened in the past, when he tried to bring up Studds he shut him down there also. I would hope that more people in the media would take people out like this. That is what the beauty of this show, he is not afraid to go after people because he doesn't care if they like him or come on his show. It is them who seem to fear him more.

On edit: I do agree with him on one thing, if ANYONE in the leadership knew about this and kept it under wraps for ANY political purpose they should be out of the leadership. I don't care who it is, this is about the kids point blank.

For a real contrast after he went to break on my local station Rush was on with his 2 minute update thing. He was saying this is just a 3rd rate sex scandal and why do they care, when the worst of it was happening the kid was 18, so it is two consenting adults. WHAT A BUNCH OF SHIT, this guy was a predator pure and simple.

14. Hey told him to stop with the whole thing
...he compared the Republicans to little kids going to the teacher and saying...well they do it to. He said stop bringing up Studds and Clinton and the whole Soros stuff, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. This guy was a predator that should have been taken out and there is NO excuse for this.

16. I'm glad to see the rabid right
attempting to make this scandal look like a democratic problem. It can, at very best, appeal to a very limited amount of their base. But it is offensive to a larger group, including people who are not firmly in either camp. I've seen a few reports that indicate that 24% of those questioned say the scandal will make them less likely to vote for a republican. Now, even if we grant that half of that is democrats who are merely expressing disgust with republicans, and who would not vote for a republican anyhow, it still leaves about 12% of voters. A few might be social conservatives who will be likely to "stay home," and simply not vote in November. But more are the women ages 24 to 36, who have voted republican since 2001 under the mistaken belief that republicans promoted national security. They have provided the republicans with a significant margin of victory in state elections in 2002 and 2004. When they hear people like Jethro Hayworth blaming democrats, it convinces them that it wasn't simply a single sexual predator, but a corrupt system where republicans refuse to take responsibility.

18. Yes! Keep the fools on the Titanic

I can almost sense a "parents revolution" in November if this keeps up.
