I predict fewer and fewer polls in the next few weeks
Somehow, mysteriously in my opinion, Bush will manage to convince em that it would be in the best interest of the country to just stop or slow polling. How do we keep the honest polls rolling? I think it is critical that the numbers are shown constantly so that when the machines show all the UNEXPECTED wins we have the numbers to help in the fight.

2. me too.
the last thing the admin needs is a pollster to come out and say he was being pressured to slow or stop polling by the admin.

3. The Democrats have their own pollsters...
and it's going to be tricky in the next few weeks figuring out where to concentrate the money, I predict they will be doing a lot of polling.

4. They may do just the opposite, flood the airwaves with slanted polls
Ask the voters obscure questions, get the results you want that show the criminal with a lead. WHAM! the fix is easy.

6. Predictions are like assholes, everybody has one.
Personally, I am just getting sick of reading predictions about any and everything under the sun. Then when the predicitons do not come true, you never hear anything about them anymore, but the same people who made them will be back with more and more.

7. I Believe Most Polling Organizations Use Schedules...
and of course supplement their schedule to poll on specific issues in the news.

8. I would approve of fewer and fewer polls
They screw up the process in so many ways.

How do we keep the honest polls rolling?

What "honest polls"? Most of them are done for profit, therefore they are inherently biased one way or another. The way questions are worded has subtle yet powerful effects on the results - I haven't seen many that didn't contain some kind of leading or prejudicial language.

We need accurately and verifiably counted votes, not polls.
