Mr. Foley's Neighborhood
http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2006/10/mr-foleys-neighborhood.php

<snip>
Mark Foley claims he had no physical contact with any of the underage pages he flirted with, but if he had managed to arrange a midnight assignation, he wouldn't have had to go too far.

According to Google Maps, Foley's Washington, D.C., home on D Street is just around the corner from the dormitory where the pages are housed. The 0.2 miles separating the two buildings can be covered in approximately 25 seconds by car, according to the site's directions. The first law of real estate: location, location, location.

1. Why are we still trying to convict Foley?
I mean he resigned, didn't he? Unless we get some evidence of someone crossing that .2 miles, this is just innuendo, isn't it?

No offense intended.

2. If you didn't hear, even the Republicans are looking into a story...
about Foley showing up at the page dorm drunk one night. This is actually very interesting in that context, isn't it?

5. I hadn't heard that - if they get proof of that - yeah.
Nice that it was close enough that he could stumble their drunk.

I do think though, as Dems, our focus should be on the incompetent and ideologically driven house leadership that let this happen.

6. Why should our focus be on the leadership if...
what Foley did is not worthy of mention??

7. Well because it's going to be mentioned anyway
I guess I don't understand the question. I think that what Foley did was reprehensible, but I don't think at this point that we have to convince anybody of that - rather they are all pretty well convinced.

3. So when is someone going to post a
photo of Foley knocking at the door to the Pages' dormitory?
You know with all the sats orbiting the earth, one exists somewhere.
