13. what a breath of fresh air! CNN International, NOT CNN
why don't they show this more often?

is it on every day at this time? I'm off work, and never get to see it during the day.

this Ting creep is blaming Canada for saying Arar was AQ; this segment was taped from BBC. no wonder it was more substantive, with a guest on the "left" who knew what he was talking about and wasn't afraid to say it

unlike, say, having the likes of Donna Brazille 'representing' us, or a panel consisting of John King, Candy Crowley, Larry King, and John Roberts

Andrea Koppel spouting WH crap about turning corner w/Hastert, because the Pres is behind him, and he apologized

just disgusting

she's painting a picture of 'pressure is relieved' from Hastert

great reporting, you little nepotite. Kyra and she are talking about how the pugs "can get this behind them!"

great strategizing session, gals. they go on and on about how pugs are getting it together to blame this all on dems, saying they want DEMS under oath to find out what THEY knew and when THEY knew it!

That Andrea person ALWAYS has a smirk on her face. Even when she is reporting serious news she looks like she is about to burst out into laughter. It is extremely disconcerting. Kyra is why blondes get a bad rap and I am a blonde.

16. This story is BIG news in Canada. One thing was left out by CNN
International (otherwise it was well done). There was an agreement in place at the time between the two governments that no Canadian citizen could be sent to a foreign country by the U.S.A. without the Canadian government being informed and being allowed to bring the citizen back to Canada. The U.S.A. violated this agreement and merely sent Mr. Arar to Syria.

18. Really Sad Thing Is... This Story Has Been Under The Radar For
a very very long time. Last month Amy Goodman devoted a lot of air time on this and had some very good conversations with him and others. It's not only sad but completely disgraceful that CNN or American News is just now making this known to most Americans!

Alternative and news from BBC and other countries do such a better job of at least trying to tell the truth. Today Democracy Now had a great interview with the authors of Bleeding Afghanistan, and I should have looked up their names before I posted this. At any rate they were talking about how Afghanistan is becoming more like Iraq AND that in their opinion that MORE troops will not help the country. Also, even though "our news" reported yesterday that the military operations were being headed by the NATO, that in fact it's actually being run by American troops. I think I recall the name of our man there as someone called General Freaking!

You know, I think I better go to the website to get these names correct. I could have heard that Freaking name incorrectly, just struck me as kind of funny.
