Why Do People Here Attribute To Karl Rove Magical Powers?
Edited on Fri Oct-06-06 07:01 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
It reminds me of America's inflated opinion of Soviet military strength during the Cold War. I remember reading a book that debunked the myth of Soviet military strength in the early 80's. It was called "Ten Feet Tall".

So Karl Rove has got a tad bit more than half of voters to embrace the Republican's crappy agenda. Don't forget Bush and the Pugs never got much more than fifty or fifty one percent of American voters to embrace this agenda.

11. You should watch the HORNS AND HALOS documentary
Rove didn't kill the Fortunate Son author - he just cobbled together enough circumstantial evidence to force the courts to consider a third felony charge against the guy for credit card fraud or something like that. Rove knew the man was plagued with fits of depression and was subject to a possible life sentence under the "three strikes and you're out" clause, and just let the chips fall where they may.

14. People must understand this
Rove HAS gotten the most worthless POS frat-boy drunk, spoiled kid sociopath into the Oval office while accumulating for him unprecedented powers. Sure Rove had help along the way such as the diminished capacity of the Americans, but the SOB doesn't hide away with his spreadsheet and computer ineffectually.

Then he drank the still warm blood gushing from its' neck while cackling like a madman. Then he started speaking in Latin backwards and I got really scared. The next day the President's approval rating went up half a percentage point. :scared:

Rove is nothing. Pay no attention to the draft-dodging, agnostic, raised-by-a-gay-stepfather hypocrite behind the curtain.

God, guns, and gays - brought to you by someone who doesn't believe in God, dodged the draft to avoid picking up a gun, and who was raised by a gay man.

I've never thought that he was any sort of genius; rather that he was simply a low down, dirty criminally sociopathic son of a bitch who has been enabled and secured financing for his sick smears, lies and out n out cheating. People seem to have learned his lesson better than he ever could have and now have turned the tables on his weird and frankly, visually disturbing ass.

19. Well
Dismissing your enemy is a terrible mistake.

While Rove has had a lot of help via the slanted KKKward media, there is something to be said for how he handles Bsuh (sic). Being as there are a quite few rising political operatives banging these boards, the objective respect for the job he's doing has a firm foundation.

But if he disappeared tomorrow, we'd all be quite happy, eh?

Bush got 48% of the vote in 00 and 51% in 04. The Pugs got a bit more than half of the votes cast in the last three elections.

It's not like he has engineered landslides.

I think your OP was flamboyant and as such a bit of marketing in itself, but not nearly as well done as rove would have done it.

No, he got the mainstream media, ALL of it, to operate effectively as an arm of the Republican National Committee.
He got the voting machinez rigged to deliver the election to the Republicans.
he got all of the mainstream media to quietly revise their exit polls and
accept yet another surprise Rethug "victory" at the polls.

22. I disagree with your assertion that he
got a tad bit more than half of voters to embrace the Republican's crappy agenda...

I still think he cheated like hell and Diebolded the election. I don't think he got half the country, certainly not in the Gore theft, but also in the Kerry rip off either. This guy EXCELS at voter supression.

I think the only thing "amazing" about Rove is his willingness to cheat, play dirty, break every rule, and do a halfway decent job of covering his tracks or bullying people into covering for him. I think he's just a lousy, fat, soft, fuck of a thug.

And eventually, he'll get a ride on the wheel of karma, and I'm betting it'll be quite the ride, too....

26. Blackmail
We can reasonably assume that Karl Rove has access to anything the NSA scoops up in its massive wiretapping/datamining operation.
If you're a Congresscritter of either party, or a corporate CEO, you can bank on one of Karl's minions listening to your calls.

27. Fish tale.
You always want your fish to be bigger and badder than any other fish in the lake. If you lost it, well, who *could* catch such a huge fish. If you got it, what a fantastic angler you must be.

You have an out for failure, and a lot of glory if you succeed.

Rove's a fish. If you lose to the super-fish, well, what do you expect, who can blame you--it's not your fault? But if you beat him, it's because you're wonderful.

Soviet Union's military ... different motivation. I think the parallel's wrong.
