Tell Everyone You Know To Watch Olbermann Tuesday Night

It's not going to be a "Special Comment." It's even better... a factual report on "The Murder Of Habeas Corpus."

If this murder is allowed to stand, The United States Of America will have officially become a dictatorship.

The recent "detainee bill" disallows the accused from challenging their detention. Think about that for a moment. Let it soak in.

I hope that Keith, and I have confidence that he will, will stress that this doesn't just apply to terrorists. It applies to anyone that the president says it applies to. I thought the so-called PATRIOT Act was bad, and it was. But if this recently passed legislation is allowed to stand, we will have stepped through the looking glass.

Do you trust President Bush enough that you believe he won't use this new power to silence political critics? I certainly don't. He is determined to silence all dissent in this once great country.

If this legislation stands, what makes you think we will even have elections next month, much less in 2008? I know some will consider this post to be a paranoid rant. But times are grim, folks. Did you think that in the United States Of America, the president would be given the right to monitor any electronic communication of US citizens without judicial oversight? Probably not, but he was.

Yes, times are grim. But there is still a slim chance that we can step up and save our country. The main problem is that hardly anyone knows how dire things have become. That's where we come in.

Here's a really simple, easy way to help save your country. Send an email to everyone in your address book, call everyone you know that doesn't do the internet, and tell them to watch Keith Olbermann's report on "The Murder Of Habeas Corpus" on MSNBC Tuesday night at 8:00 eastern.

Once everyone knows what really is happening in, and to, our country, we can assess where to go from here.
