Most offensive wingnut bumper stickers ever.
I saw them yesterday on two different vehicles.

"50 years 'Under God' -- let's keep it that way"

and

"Assimilate or Vacate"

1. The one I want to ram is
"Adoption Not Abortion."

Goddamned fools know NOTHING about what forced childbirth followed by handing the baby off to strangers does to a woman.

7. A '66 Dodge pickup with a piece of 6" steel pipe for a front bumper
Edited on Tue Oct-10-06 02:58 PM by MindPilot
would work quite nicely as a ramming vehicle.

The one that really makes me want to ram; "Two people enter an abortion clinic; only one comes out alive".

And it's corollary: "Abortion clinics kill at least half their patients"

8. I always say, 'send down another one, we'll nail him up too.
This always sparks and angry response which I meet withquiet feigned amazement.

I then say, "What I am saying is that hypocrisy and exploitation of Christ's message is s rampant, if the real messenger came back the people exploiting him couldn't handle this and they would respond by killing him for exposing hypocrisy."

They always blink, think about that in their normal half dazed, always addled way and I get away with it.

Yes, I am a stinker, but stupid people are everywhere, and they are always asking to have their sacred cows turned into hamburger.

And neither can half of the Republican pundits - those who refer to Democrats as being members of the "Democrat" Party. Idiots don't know the difference between a noun and an adjective.

50. How soon people forget
My great grandmother came here from Italy as a teenager around 1900. When she passed away in the early 1970s, she still barely spoke any English. Never learned it, never had to... she lived in a small city here in Connecticut that had a large Italian population.

A picture of Bill Clinton on one end, a sniper's rifle at the other end, and in between, in huge, red text:
"Where's Lee harvey Oswald when you need him?"

(I saw this one on a truck for a few years in the late '90s)

Think you could get away with this kind of sh*t these days with the Boy King? Only if you really wanted to go to Gitmo.

68. This one gets me too
I mean, if they believe in God how could they think that God is not in the schools? I was taught that God was everywhere whether or not you're praying or talking about him, he's always watching over you. If you're a Christian, and you take your children to church every Sunday and you pray with them and all the things a family does when they practice their religion, does God then abandon your children during school hours if there isn't a mandatory classroom prayer session? :eyes:

They know that no one can take their God from them. They're just mad that they aren't allowed to push their God on others.

45. Worst I ever saw:
For years, someone who obviously worked at the school off of Sycamore Street in Arlington sported this sticker. I walked by it almost daily on my way to the Metro.

On the left side, it said "Abortion Takes A Human Life."

And on the right side of the sticker, there was a frightening graphic of a mutant child with a snout and flippers.

Every day I would walk by that car and grumble to myself, "you're damned right I don't want some mutant-ass baby with a snout and flippers."

Now, I have to admit I'm not the brightest guy in the world, so it was about a year before I realized that the graphic was not of the baby from It's Alive, but it was a picture of a fucking baby seal.

Postscript: as I was writing this, I decided to see if I could find it, and in fact I found what must be descendant of that original sticker, with a more coherent message and the same frightening graphic. But I swear it didn't say that back then. So look at this and imagine what it used to say, and tell me you wouldn't be a little freaked out by it:

47. LOL!, "It's Alive"
The only movie, and I mean the ONLY movie, that ever kept me up the night I saw it...such a delicious fear rush lol.

For example:
I saw "The Exorcist" twice with a friend of mine, once at the drive-in (remember those?) and once in a walk-in.
There were 4 of us guys at the drive in, we had bought 2 extra large pizzas before the show, the two little girls in the front were so scared that me and my bud got to eat BOTH of the pizza's lol.
The walk in was hysterical, as there was a group of girls sitting in front of us just freaking out.
We laughed so hard at that movie...tears, man, tears.
I still get a chuckle thinking of the pea soup spew...

1) "Happiness Is A Warm Machine Gun" spotted in a grocery store parking lot in Front Royal, VA.

2) Tied for Kuckledragger Sticker of the Year: A bumper sticker reading "I Have A Dream...". Anyone thinking this reference to MLK's famous speech had anything to do with our civil rights leader's dream of a color blind America will be rudely awakened upon closer inspection of ths sticker, which sports a picture of the Capitol building with the Confederate Stars and Bars flying over it. Spotted in Martinsburg, WV on a commercial truck from Maryland.

"No Liberals"

This was a semi truck used for transporting animals to slaughterhouses. I live in Kentucky, so I'm used to this type of shit. But I have to admit this really pissed me off.

Maybe not technically a "bumper sticker", but only because of size. More like an inflammatory mobile billboard for idiots.

69. My vote goes to: "What’s Our Oil Doing Under Your Sand?"
That one, IMO, really spells out the sense of entitlement, out-and-out greed and the "me first and fu** you" attitude of wingnuts.

Runner-up: (And this was way before the Monica Lewinsky hubbub)

"Impeach Him? Hell, Get A Rope."

What kind of respect does *that* show for the office of the president? Oh, yeah, I forgot -- the need for respect only applies when there's a right-wing president in office. :grr:

73. i thought the "Our Oil" was about questioning our sense of entitlement,
out-and-out greed, and the "me first and fuck you" attitude of wingnuts?

Maybe i didn't get it.

75. Understood; but I actually saw it on a car with "I Stand With Pres.* "
and other gung-ho right wing stickers. I think that you're correct, that the message was originally crafted to sarcastically "flip" the idea of greed, but it's one of those messages that can, unfortunately, be co-opted by the dark side. :scared:

71. Saw a Guantanamo sticker the other day.
Apparently from somebody who served there. It had the silhouette of a detainee.

Saw this one once several months ago. Still trying to figure out what it meant... :shrug:

77. I'm fighting back;
On 2, 8 1/2" x 11" pieces of paper with cardboard backing to give them a firm spine, I have printed out in 96 point text (Open office has it, MSOffice doesn't) one that reads;

WHAT
WOULD
MARK
FOLEY
DO?
WWmFD?

and on the other;

TORTURE
TORTURE
TORTURE
TORTURE
TORTURE

One is posted on each side of my rear window. I'll probably replace the latter one with;

TORTURE!
A REAL
FAMILY
VALUE!

5 TORTUREs make a statement and that is what I'm hoping for. Someone will see that and wonder all day if I am for it or against it. The trick I hope to produce is that it will stick in people's mind long enough to make a difference.

I've had these since the day after Foley resigned. I park in large parking lots, and no, none of my windows have been broken, yet!

My ultimate sign that I've been thinking of would read;

PRAYER
CAUSES
CANCER!

But I think I'll only do that if the election goes the way I fear it might, not the way I hope and not the way the polls are saying they will. Hell, if the worst happens, I'll get several t-shirts with that saying. Why limit that fine saying to the few people who glance at my back window? I pass many, many people during the week and I can imagine how many people I can piss off in a week's time. If I can get my finances in order, I'll purchase a digital camera and post some pictures.

78. Here's a few
"Welcome to America. Speak English or leave"
"W.W.B.D.?" (you figure it out)
"John Kerry for president of France"
"We're a Christian nation. If you don't like it, call 1-800-LEAVE-USA"
"You're either with us (elephant) or with the enemy (donkey)"
"Gun control means hitting your target (donkey in crosshairs)"

and the most offensive yet:
"W '08"
