The blivet doesn't go near 'real' people. Everyone is so carefully screened no one, especially an "environmental nut", could get within 2 city blocks of him. Compare Bush's situation with that of Bill Clinton. He's universally loved and respected and can walk among crowds anywhere in the world without fear. Bush........he keeps a sharp eye on Laura and the twins. He can't step outside his bedroom door without a security detail.
