The Bush Administration is being used as a poster child by right-wing libertarians who wish to foster a hatred of government.

9. I voted no because
When I was draft age and tried to register as a consciencious objector (1968, I was denied) my father, a lifer in the Air Force told me, "Your country right or wrong" I said no. I said I would not go kill people I didn't know for reasons I didn't believe in. I believe in the constitution. We (the US ) have the greatest structure for a government that I know of, yet I do NOT trust this particular government. We have a long way to go to get the special interests and money out of our government and have polititians that are not corruptible. At this point, the DEms are our best hope. Some are corrupt, but compared to the repugs, we look virginal.

16. when the fox guards the henhouse,
and says everything is ok, go on about your business, there is something radically wrong.
Not only that, it's everything that has happened in this country since 2000. Our country doesn't seem to be getting better at anything except trying to dominate others.

24. No, they all lie
Our government was set up with checks and balances and oversight committees because the framers knew NO government could or should be trusted. They did the best they could to make it as transparent as possible but those measures have been completely undone over the decades. You're a fool if you trust any part of the government now.
