My local news just went on and on about Wes Clark (w/Tim Mahoney)

He was stumping for Mahoney (the guy who will replace Foley). They mainly showed clips of Wes speaking about how we can't stay the course because we're off the tracks.

They were obviously very impressed with Clark because they showed a lot of Clark's speech and commented about how lucky Mahoney was to have Clark there and showed people in the audience shaking their heads in agreement to Clark and looking very impressed with him. I don't know how much time they spent on Mahoney because I only caught part of it.

This could almost be used as a campaign piece for Clark because they were literally gushing about him. This is in a very Republican area too (SW Florida).

If I can't find of clip of it somewhere - I'm tempted to get a copy of it from them or something.

3. I encourage everyone to go hear Gen.Clark speak

if they get a chance....He makes so much sense, and simply has a unique way of connecting, which in turn makes people feel at ease...

and I hope that Clark's appearance helps Mahoney that much more.

I remember that Clark appeared with Mahoney BEFORE the Foley scandal broke....which makes this a clearly sincere visit to help Mahoney once more......as opposed to it being an attempt to hog for photo ops opportunities!
