Bring them with you to the booth. There were numerous reports of "flippage"
during the '04 selection. Many Kerry voters reported the vote flipping to Bush on the screen .
Almost every digital camera has broadcast quality video. Record your vote with the lens set as wide as it goes, so the images you capture include your hand and the screen.
Have your camera set so that the date and time are recorded as well.
You may feel a little ridiculous, but the situation is ridiculous.

Make sure that the aperture adjusts itself so the screen isn't all washed out before you vote, though.

A polling place is a public place. No one can ban the use of taking pictures in a public area, barring the images being used for Advertisements. Then again, the country has changed a wee bit...

That way, if the screen flips and changes your vote, you have it documented, and can complain right there on the spot. Hook the camera up to a laptop or whatever, and there's proof that the machine malfunctioned. (Or functioned as intended. :( )

This would pretty much require a shut down of the polling place, I would think.

Great idea! This needs to be sent to MoveOn.org, DNC, etc. They need to get the word out starting NOW!

it is an open booth with a no-doubt fixed diebold machine on the desk top....no one can see who you vote for, not that that matters as they are probably switching our votes to repukes anyway, but they would certainly see us taking a photo.
