3. The video is basically of a model
sans makeup and what they do to her to make her "beautiful" including photo-shopping.

It is sped up so the whole thing is just a few seconds.

Just reaffirms that what we see in magazines is unattainable.

8. Not just unattainable, nonexistent
What you see in magazines bears very little resemblance to the actual person who originally posed for the photo.

4. I really liked that!
Companies are trying to make everyone feel inadequate these days to justify the way they treat people.

Thanks for posting.

5. The amount of retouching they do for fashion mags is amazing
They even lengthen legs, along with the bigger eyes and foreheads and smaller chins!

6. Wow. The photoshopped result looks so fake.
I like what I found in the comments: " Guys... Remember: if her name ends with .jpg, she doesn't count as a girlfriend.

That was a pretty neat video, thanks.

9. For a woman, "beauty" is apparently harmonious symmetry
I have a DVD on mathematics, and there's an excellent example there. It's a computerized composite of many womens faces, with any discordant feature obviously eliminated in the process. It's strikingly BEAUTIFUL! It's also a hint of the male chauvinism that underlays much of our thinking.

Almost certainly, it would be the direct OPPOSITE for a man (Male chauvinism again).
