If Iraq is a "democracy" now, as bush has said, and the vast
majority of Iraqis want the US to leave, how can bushco explain our continued presence? The US is an occupying army. I feel so sorry for our troops, doing their duty, caught in the middle.

1. That is why aWoL wants to call it a WAR not name it truly as OCCUPATION
How could he justify his OCCUPATION AUTHORITY? Or his OCCUPATION POWERS?

2. Because- get this-
the democracy is "in it's infancy", and if we leave now, we face the possibility of a terrorist state CONTROLLING THE OIL.

At least, that's what Bush finally admitted a couple of weeks ago. Apparently it's finally acceptable to admit that it's about oil.
