Malloy: Rand Beers quit Shrub and went to work for Kerry
Edited on Fri Oct-20-06 08:49 PM by steve2470
Mike Malloy is taking about it right now. I've failed to see it on Google News so far, it was in the Washington Post recently. Rand Beers was Shrub's chief counterterrorism expert and quit one day in disgust. He then went to work for Kerry's campaign in 2004.

edit: corrected Rand's name.

1. So, what was Malloy saying, and why now?
Just curious.

3. In the State Department, Beers was an architect of the South American
drug war, especially the ongoing US intervention in Colombia. It was a real disappointment to see Kerry chose him as a foreign policy advisor during the 2004 campaign.

4. It got a great deal of publicity when it happened.
Why's Malloy talking about it now?
