if Iran was attacked what about iraq
The sad truth is GW would launch an attack on Iran with our soldiers still in Iraq
Has anybody thought about evacuating them because I do not see how they would survive the missiles, the Shia uprising or hundreds of thousands of Iranians pouring over the border?

1. I think they might call it "Collateral Damage"
It has been mentioned but we are not dealing with rational people here.

3. "Troops." They are troops. More impersonal than soldiers.

7. I'm afraid you missed my point entirely. I call them soldiers, too.
I think that Bush, Cheney, Rummy and Condi want them to be "troops" because it is more impersonal than "soldiers." By impersonalizing the dehumanize and find linguistic support for not giving a shit.

4. I would hate to see a military stretched thin
and being picked off one by one in Iraq have to face the Persian Army coming across the border at them, and that's exactly what would happen. Iran has had troops massed at the border for three years. Aside from a few shells lobbed into Kurdish territory, that's how it's stayed.

And that's why the Pentagon has been telling Stupid and his merry band of neocons NO.

6. Not to mention the Navy task force sitting in the gulf
I would hate to see the casualty figures if Iran
started launching anti-ship missles at our ships
