Did Bush just have his "I'm not a crook moment" @ the press conference?
A reporter asked him, why he felt that he had to circumvent the 1978 FISA law... Bush responds, "I did not break the law".

10. Yes, Your Honor It's True
I was going 100 in a 55 mph zone, it's just that since I bought this fancy new sports car the law doesn't work for me anymore, so I circumvented it. Besides, I'm not going that fast right now anyway.

4. To add to this....(from a thread I just posted)
In his press conference, he just made a statement that an honest press would point out.

A reporter asked why he circumvented the FISA law. Bush replied that he did not circuymvent or break the law....BUT he addd that he had decided the FISA law was not workable today, and so he didn;t follow it.

In otehr words, he decided the law was inconvenient because it was outdated, so he circumvented it.

5. He said much worse.... he said:
"We looked at the FISA law and we determined that it just wasnt adequate."

Translation: "We broke the FISA law."

OOPS.

Reminder to Repukes - DO NOT LET BUSH SPEAK FREE-FORM, HE WILL INDICT HIMSELF.

13. Why is he not willing to make these statements under oath?
Hillary and Bill were continually asked to testify and they did so under oath.......why haven't Cheney and Georgie willing to do the same.

"If you haven't got anything to hide?" mantra of the CON's doesn't seem to apply to them?
