1. I hope it gets lots of air play....

He is so obnoxious with his greasy hair and surliness.

2. What I want to know is...
...why in the hell is the Defense Department doing the job of the State Department?

Seems like diplomats should be in charge of diplomating not gun-toting idiots like donny.

3. It was amusing when he was putting his pens in his jacket
and getting his papers together. He wanted to get out of there as fast as humanly possible.

I love it when he asks himself questions that nobody really cares about as a way of deflecting the real question. "Are the Iraqis darker skinned than me? You betcha. Do I wish I had a deeper tan? No doubt about it."

5. Wolf Blitzer Skewered him
Edited on Thu Oct-26-06 08:58 PM by Rockstone
He showed a daily show style "catch phrase" sequence of clips

Rummy's catch phrase was "it's complicated" which was meant to say "I can't answer the question without defeating myself."

It ends with him dodging a question ("will it ....") by basically saying "Well the definition of "it" is the crux of the issue."

End of clip back to Blitzer now with Max Cleland. Cleland says "Is that what point we're at here? Debating the meaning of what "it" is?"

Priceless...
