What exactly happened between Mike Malloy and Thom Hartman?
It was mentioned in passing in another thread on another subject, but the thread was locked.

2. As far as I know .... nothing
They both used to be on the IEamerica radio network which preceeded AAR by a few years. The union finally had to pull the plug on the network because they didn't market it well enough to make it viable.

3. i dont think anything ever happened 'between' them that i recall
they were both on ie america radio, which was union financed, (along with peter werbe, nancy skinner and others) it went under, thom kept up his independent show, mike eventually went to AA, werbe still does night call, skinner is running for congress.

i dont recall any problem ever between them, afaik they are still friends and have always been.

6. What are you trying to imply?
And why?

Apart from your oft repeated assertions that Hartmann is CIA because he doesn't share your, uh, "beliefs," is there any more than a desire to trash AAR hosts behind your message?

Please be more explicit.

7. My own take on Hartmann
Is that he's got an ego as big as Dallas coupled with a very thin skin. I've been listening to him since 2005. Or maybe it's 2003. No, I was in Japan during much of 2003. Well actually, I was in Japan for only a month or so during 2003. Sooo I must have started listening to Hartmann in 2004. Anyway, he bores me.

10. I think my original post gave the context and was very clear
But I want to know what the other poster was alluding to with the following:

"I am sick of Thom Hartman..he still dances with

Bev Harris..enough said for me!!
And unlike others i remember when Mike Malloy was screwed by Hartman..when the union network shut down...and i will never forget that!!

Malloy is too much a gentleman to bring it up.but i will never forget it!!

Like Hartman if you will..but i do not trust the man!!"

I want to know because I have a high opinion of Malloy and a low opinion of Hartman - as you said I don't trust him - and want more information.

Explicit enough for ya?

If it's a Bobbie thread, it's a Thom Hartmann smear.

Hartmann and Malloy are friends. You would know this if you had ever listened to either's radio show.

9. Do you have a thing for him, like a crush? This boy in my daughters class
is always punching her on the arm and then last week he asked her to dance with him at homecoming.

11. Locking.
Do not post "flame bait" discussion topics. While there is no clear line regarding what constitutes flame bait, the moderators have the authority to shut down threads which they consider too rhetorically hot, too divisive, too extreme, or too inflammatory. Please use good judgment when starting threads; inflammatory rhetoric does not normally lead to productive discussion.

Do not start a new topic in order to continue a flame war from another discussion thread.
