It's got that "household word" ring to it, some Halloween scandal or surprise.

As long as it gives reporters a reason to say on Nov 8, "Well, I guess it was the Halloween surprise (or whatever) that brought Republicans out to the polls" As long as it's cheesy, and easy to get stuck in people's heads, it'd good enough for Rove.

Change is always with us. If you get 25 people together and they think alike you can count on that number to change in time. It is sort of a moving thing. Works one year and then starts to go out of style. I often use a wave and it is like a tide. Back and forth and never just the same but sort of the same. Right now we seem to have a full moon and a very high tide but as always it will get back to what it is usually. One re-builds the dunes that were washed out and hopes for the next full moon not to do the same. Carl just came as the moon became full. Trouble is the build up to the full moon is as long as the fall.
