America is truly out to lunch if this clown has another 2 years of GOP Senate and House majorities.

Sad to say, the 50 States of America will be in even greater trouble if it does not turn itself around very soon.

Sorry to have bothered you with this mini-rant.

1. Don't Worry!!! The Brave Congressional Dems Have Our Back!!!
Thy have stopped at nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, in their relentless drive to stop the Republicans, preserve our civil rights, and maintain world peace!!! If they take back the Congress in November, they'll continue to lead with bravery and honor!!!

2. That's sarcasm, right?
What I think will happen?

Even if we win the majority, the deck is already stacked against us.

Lieberman is currently blackmailing the democratic leadership to keep his position. I expect him to switch parties after the election but even if he doesn't he won't be voting with the democrats in congress on the really important issues. He likes the current war and ultra conservative direction the repubs have forced us into. Unless we win enough of a majority to make his personal vote meaningless, nothing's going to change and that's going to spell trouble in 08. And then there's the fact that the position of power which he occupies which he is going to use to continue pushing us in the wrong direction.

There's the possibility that a large portion of the country may have detected a problem with a congress, senate and presidency all consisting of a single party. That could hurt us also.

Everything considered, I'm not sure there is a happy future for any of us.

5. Sadly, Yes.
Today's "Democrats" are pretty far to the right of where the Republicans used to be. Today's Republicans are just nuts.

3. I think like you but I have been here a long time and feel
people vote in what they think they want and they voted in Bush in 2004 so guess they wanted this. I will be sorry to see the GOP of the Far Right stay in power but would not be shocked.
