Stephanie Miller is KILLING me! rofl
WOW! I don't know whether to laugh, scream or cry. Some idiotic wing nut wrote her a death threat letter after her appearance on faux news and was stupid enough to include his phone number. So momma did what momma had to do. She called him on the air! :wow:

Not so surprisingly enough, he wasn't very happy that she read his letter on air. Oh, and he believes that Michael J Fox over medicated himself because the oxycotin abuser said so. And apparently Stephanie is a Benedict Arnold! Who knew? :eyes:

15. Actually, it was a smart move on Steph's part
If anything shouldhappen to her, Sock will be up shit's creek. He'd better wish nothing betides her, cuz he's in deep doo doo if it does. I think she was just taking out an "insurance policy."

I hope she has contacted the FBI. It would seem like it has federal scope, airwaves, interstate mail, etc.

"Oh so I've lowered the discourse by reading your own words back to you?"

and it was like a bad traffic accident.....horrible but I couldn't turn it off....Stephie has tremendous courage but listening to that psychotic wingnut was almost too much to take...

Did you hear him say he didn't get the "overdose" thing from Rush but from "...talking to Doctors..."?

What kind of Doctors do you suppose those were?

6. Steph needs to show this guy what a couple FBI agents look like at his door
It was obvious that the guy sent a death threat AND was stupid enough to put his goddamn phone number in the letter... the sign of a perfectly stupid Repig.

Steph should get the FBI on his ass pronto. He was a coward when he said he should "stop talking to her now".

Book him Steph!

9. "rule of law" isn't that what they always preach?
And as I recall death threats are against the law. Maybe a visit from the law would make Sock think a bit.

10. Death threats are a Federal crime
Death threat: A person is guilty of a crime if he threatens to kill another with the purpose to put him in imminent fear of death under circumstances reasonably causing the victim to believe the immediacy of the threat and the likelihood that it will be carried out.

33. The Computer Says No! -- ha ha
Clearly, when one is fighting for "God" and "America", criminal threats are justified. And Sock had the nerve to use their classic line, "Be glad you're in a country where you're free to speak." Huh? And this from the Wingnut who just threatened her for speaking out and lied about "remembering what he said in his letter." What a "sock" of sh*t!

Remember when O'Reilly put Fox security onto some guy who had merely mentioned Olbermann's name.

22. Calling this guy was just plain nuts...
but in a good way.

Of course, I didn't hear the interchange, but it's pretty much the last thing I'd have thought of.

Ignore it; preempt it; report it -- sure... but call the idiot?

I suppose that the telephone number was just irresistible.

26. even she was questioning her sanity for calling him
When the woman who answered the phone (his wife I guess?) was looking for the jerk, Stephanie was waiting on the line and she started questioning her sanity for calling him in the first place. The guy was stupid enough to write his phone number down though so her curiosity got the best of her.

You have to listen to the audio posted on this thread (can't remember who posted it exactly)...it was so funny and bizarre.

31. The unexpected response can be an excellent, effective one,
catching your "adversary" off-guard and unprepared (even if he has essentially telegraphed a possible, and possibly-rewarding, line of attack -- unwittingly -- by making a mistake, or exposing a vulnerability, etc) and keeping him there. (Of course, the skilled adversary may use cover and deception; in particular, he may create the appearance (belief, etc) of such a vulnerability, where none really exists -- in order to make you act in certain, predictable ways.)

...

Perhaps I'll listen later.

29. Why aren't more Americans skeptical?
Why are so many Americans so gullible?

If Rush says it, it must be true.

I'll tell you exactly what I see- Reagan.

That man had believability. He was a commercial man. He sounded sincere. And my liberal father actually voted for him, the first time around. And so did many Dems.

It's commercial America that has duped us into believing what we hear from so-called authority figures. Rush, Rove, and the likes. Better living through chemistry. And it started during World War Two.

But come on world! Wake up and see the truth. Be skeptics. Or else!

I had to vent. Thank you.

32. You're Overanalyzing
The fact is that the vast majority of them are in the bottom 50% both intellectually and educationally. So, scarce few of them are especially bright, scarce few are highly educated, and many of them are simply stupid.
