Christ...my Customers (Computer) have been bitching all day about the time change.
I've heard "Put it back to the Real Time" 67 times.

Well...This IS the real time. When we change the clocks in April we're foolin' with Reality. :)

1. I thought it was "Standard Time"
It's wierd because we have family in Chile, which is 1 hour ahead of Eastern Standard time but since they're in the Southern Hemisphere, they observe Daylight Savings Time during our winter.

So we're either the same time Chile is (when we're on Daylight Savings Time) or two hours behind (when Chile is on Daylight Savings Time).

And now that we've started changing when Daylight Savings Time stops and starts, we have a few weeks where we can hardly figure it out.

3. Time is an artificial construct to begin with.

:hi:

In the sense of a clock 'keeping' time anyway.

6. Hi, you beat me to it.
It's all artificial ( manmade) anyway, just like the calendar.

4. Except In Michigan
We're always on Daylight Savings Time, but in the summer, we're two hours ahead of the sun, instead of one.

Ford wanted to be on NY time, so there it is.

5. THANK YOU!!!
Dang!!! I've been through the same deal all day. I have been tempted to write up a little flyer explaining the whole history and reasons behind Daylight Savings Time so I can just pass it out instead of repeating myself so much!
