Please support a sort of special cause to me and Louisianans, as well as the rest of the USA. www.voiceofthewetlands.com is an educational and fund raising website which explains how vital the wetlands are to this country. Mankind and Katrina have done nothing to add to this vital area of American life. But there is hope. Please contribute. I realize that we may all be getting tapped out by funding political candidates, but this may be vital to the survival of America as we know it. Just for the record, I am not from Louisiana, but love the Mississippi River and all it has to offer. By saving the wetlands of the Louisiana, we can help save the big river.
If the wetlands area was intact the way nature intended, there is a good chance that Katrina would not have done as much damage as she did. The water would have some place to go and so on. Not to mention the wildlife that is getting displaced. We need someplace to save environmentally, so this is a start.
