Traveling billboard

During the '04 election I put a Kerry/Edwards sign on my lawn, then my neighbor put FIVE Bush/Cheney signs on her lawn. That’s when I went overboard, I made big signs and covered my mini van with them.

I enlarged slogans on my computer and pieced them together. I covered every inch with mailing tape starting from the bottom, I sealed every edge to the car (it worked in keeping the paper dry front and back)(if you peel it off carefully it doesn‘t leave a mark, if it does, it comes off with a little elbow grease).

I have a stop sign in front of my home, so people had a lot of reading material when they came to a stop. My car was a traveling billboard as I shopped and did my errands.

I used a cover of Time magazine with Osama on it, I captioned it with “Where’s Osama, Bush admittedly doesn’t care”. I got a lot of thumbs up as I traveled the N.Y.S. thruway.

God, I cried when that election was stolen.
