How will you stand the tension next Tuesday?
Hey, I am not even American and I can't vote but I know I will be nervous all day and check every five minutes how the election is going.

3. After the last two presidential elections nothing will ever surprise
me again. If we get screwed one more time all hell will break loose.

Oh yeah and I have been around for twelve president changes. Hoover was in charge when I was born, so I could count it as thirteen.

Add a pillow, the couch, and a wide-screen to the mix and you've got perfect setting to watch the Democrats kick ass nation-wide.

21. Going local
I'm working for a local candidate (who has a great chance), prioritizing our hometown candidates and GOTV calling are the only things that work for me.

Tons of credit to those working with high profile Congressional candidates, I'd be a wreck.

Curious, where do you live?

22. Working at the polls, then I'm going to pop some popcorn...
and hope against hope that both sides turn Demo. If not, I don't know what I'll do. I can't go through another disappointment like 2004, but I'm mentally preparing myself for the shock, just in case. I'm scared!

24. By mocking all the Republicans standing in line with me.
I'll be asking them how that restoring honor and dignity to the White House thing is going for Bush and the Republicans. I'll be asking them if their sons and daughters will be helping Bush to stay the course in Iraq. I'll be asking them if they'd let their sons and daughters be pages for Republican Congress critters.

I stand the tension by creating tension in Republicans.

26. Tension? Nah. Extreme trepidation
is more like it. Seeing so many races that are nose to nose, or within the margins, I just can't overcome the feeling in my gut that their going to steal it...again. And now, with Bush out getting all of this free air time all over the country as if he's running for President all over again, well ... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

But, I'm going to be certain to have a case of beer on hand.

28. I'm serving as an election judge. Have to be at my precinct by
5:15am and the polls in Illinois don't close until 7:00pm.

I'm hoping to be home by 8:30-9:00pm. Then I will settle down in front of my computer, turn on the TV, log on to DU and start praying that the Democrats will take both the House and the Senate....

I think it's going to be a long night here in the US, so Miss Honeychurch with you living in Europe, it'll be a long very early morning for you.

If I were you, I'd take next Wednesday off to catch up on your sleep.
