Are Repubs putting money into MT and MD Senate races or "pretending"..?
...to put money into MT and MD, in hopes of getting the Democrats to withdraw resources from other more closer races? They have been known to try this trick. Personally, I think the Democrats should focus elsewhere with their money and ads. I think Tennessee, VA, and MD are still a fight. If the Democrats want to try to "steal" a race from the Repubs and have any "extra" money, they might try Arizona.

1. They Need To Lock Down The Sure Things....
They need to be secure in the races they're leading. Make certain they don't lose any of those, like Menendez in NJ. They Must hold onto the gains they've built up.

Then, go after those which are close enough to go either way. Put the majority of $$$$$ in those, so you get a good split in the results.

If there are any new vulnerable places, spend a little there, but if it is not close now, don't worry about it as much, and concentrate on what is winnable.

2. I think Menendez has a semi-comfortable lead?
Would you take money out of TN or VA to put in NJ?

4. These are the type of decisions that Chairman Dean must make...
The polls are followed very closely, I would assume? Do not follow the Repub propaganda or the media reports. Follow your own inside polls.

5. I'd Hate To Lose Jersey
That would be a pretty big embarassment, especially if it ends up offsetting a 6th seat gain, i.e. TN, MO or VA.

Yeah, I'd say play enough defense to not give up any ground you currently have. I hate being within the MOE on these races, because it gives them that much more chance to FIX the election.

7. Also,,,
I think the Democrats should operate on the premise that the Republicans are the ones on the defensive - not the Democrats. The people are pissed off at the Republicans mostly. That said, we should attack in all the states where we have a chance of defeating the Republicans at this time. That would include Arizona, TN, VA, and MO. If we are ahead in OH and NJ, I would gamble that we would hold those leads.
