Abstinence Education Implies that Americans are Really Dumb
Millions and Billions of our tax dollars have and will be wasted teaching people ..

"Don't have sex if you don't want to get pregnant, or catch a disease"

Let us think about this...

Millions of dollars to basically tell people what most adults and teens already know is the 100% effective method of not getting pregnant or catching VD.

I mean really...is it me? Do the pro-abstinence people think Americans are so stupid that they don't already know this?

If anything, most Americans are trying to figure out how to have more sex...because they don't like abstaining.

1. One word described the public - hypocrisy!
Those on the right in particular....they claim they are Christians, but support the lying, cheating, criminal administration that leaves a huge swath of the population behind (they obviously forgot to read the rich person's impossibility of heaven/eye of the needle passage). They want small government until they think that the government should tell you how to live (Gay marriage, abortion, etc). Their Christianity appears to give them the free pass to heaven, yet they are incredibly, easily manipulated by fear.

I could go on and on.....but it makes my blood pressure go too high!

3. I see the problem as teaching abstinence ONLY!
I don't have a problem including abstinence in an education programalong WITH other forms of BC and associated risks. I think it's playing ostritch to teach abstinence ONLY!

4. The problem is the money being spent on teaching abstinence
there are the "silver ring" programs, and a whole host of other stupid programs where kids sign forms...

all a giant waste of money....on what every junior high/high school teacher used to spend about 1 afternoon on a year...and then...it was up to the parents to parent.

All this money for a form of nanny government...from the same folks who claim they hate nanny government.
