Jeb Bush warns of Democratic 'agenda of anger and revenge'

http://newsblogs.chicagotribune.com/news_theswamp/2006/10/bush_brother_wa.html#more

<snip>

"…. This election isn't about victory for victory's sake. For George, the presidency is a charge to keep. He makes the tough decisions - even when they're not popular - because that was the solemn vow he made to the American people. Our president stands on principle and fights for America's security. Because of it, he has been vilified by the Democrats, by the media, and by Hollywood. Tuesday is when you make your voice heard.

''In less than a week, our commitment will be counted in votes. In this fight, we cannot afford to fall short - not by a single vote - or very soon we will see the consequences in a weaker war on terror and a future of guaranteed, automatic tax increases. With Congress on the line, it's time to stand side-by-side with our president and elect leaders he can work with to defend America. We won't allow this good man's presidency to be obstructed by a Democrat Congress with an agenda of anger and revenge.

"Next Tuesday, we face a serious choice, as serious as any we have ever faced as a country. Please help support our Get-Out-The-Vote effort, make phone calls to voters in key states, and no matter what you do, please make sure you vote. Now more than ever, I'm proud that George W. Bush is my president. Please join me in standing with him and our Republican candidates for this final drive to victory.

"Sincerely,
Jeb Bush''

15. Not quite correct according to
J.H. Hatfield, author of "Fortunate Son"

on p. 258 there is a footnote that states the following:

"In 1991, Bush , his wife, and their young daughters, received round-the-clock Secret Service protection after Iraqui dictator Saddam Hussein threatened their lives in retaliation for the elder Bush's presidential role in the Persian Gulf War."

3. perhaps, jebbie, if your party weren't such a
lame, scum-sucking bag-o-crap, you wouldn't have to worry about such things.

But angry? You're darn tootin' I'm angry. I was brought up to abhor fascism, and I'm sick and tired of watching swallow our republic.

4. Jeb's playing his part in the fear-and-smear Republican tactic.
But his last name suggests two miserable presidents, the son even worse than the father, and the father being not that hot to start with.

He'll prompt a few GOP fatcats to write a few checks, but overall I don't think it's going to save the Republican Congress critters who are up against the wall.

A daughter or son killed pointlessly in Iraq trumps misgivings about Nancy Pelosi's homosexual agenda any day of the week.

12. Didn't the Third Reich say something similar when it appeared that
Berlin was about to fall? And that was the reason why Josef and Magda Goebbels POISONED THEIR OWN CHILDREN and committed suicide? Freedom from fascism is usually seen as a fate worse than death.

18. What better place to post that my Republican husband
has left the Republican party and will vote a straight Democratic ticket. We live in Florida and I promise this is truly a miracle I NEVER thought could happen. Since the 2000 election (appointment), we disagreed so much politically that at times we would sleep in different rooms. We finally had to agree not to talk politics. I think the crowning blow came when we recently visited Canada on business. He was able to hear reason. I think before this I was so angry when I tried to talk about the problems, it just turned him off. I'm much calmer now and especially when seeing the polls looking so good for Democrats. At this point, there is not one thing that would change his mind and bring him back into the Republican fold. He's had it. Yaaaaaah!!!!!!

for George the presidency is a "charge to steal".

George runs away from tough decisions and lets "poppy, cheney, rumsfeld and others" make decisions.
George just puts up the bush face in front of the deceitfulness and decisions which are devastating this country.
George stands on principle to fight for America's fall into fascism.
and because of it he is dutifully and rightfully criticized by some Democrats, very few in the media, and a handful of those who've made it in Hollywood. Tuesday is when we make our voices heard even when diebold machines will distort our message, because even if the bushes silence our voices again, they will know that america does not want them, america does not love them, america does not believe in them, and america has wisened up to their bags of deceitfulness and trickery.

26. And when Starr & the Republicans
implacably went after Bill Clinton during l'affaire Lewinsky, that wasn't anger & revenge? I'm not particularly a fan of either Clinton, but what George W. and his thugs have done to this country and Iraq trump any blowjob. There's a lot of projection and guilt going on here and it's psychologically telling and interesting that Jeb is afraid of and uses the word "revenge".

27. Hey Jeb, why did your brother sat in a Fla classroom for seven minutes
with a "deer in headlights" look on his stupid chimp face while people, Americans among them, were dying at the WTC? Why didn't he order fighter jets to follow the hi-jacked airliners? Why did he do nothing but get out of harm's way, his words, on that day? Why did it take him days and not hours to get to ground zero.

Why did he let an American city drown and Americans die? Why doesn't he ever admits he is wrong? Why did he knowingly lied about Saddam and WMD and Iraq ties to 9/11. Why does he continues to lie?

And why did he take office in the first place, knowing he didn't actually win the '00 election?

And why does he hate us for our freedoms?
