Poll question: Do you really think Democrats would just 'pull out'?
If Democrats were in control I am certain that they would not just totally pull out of Iraq and leave them to their own devices like Republicans imply. I know that is what many peace activists want, but realistically, it would be hard to do now that we're there. The advantage in having Democrats is that they would not prolong the war as this administration seems to be doing.

I'm surprised this kind of question isn't raised more often, but I guess it hasn't been because in reality this is W's mess and he has to clean it up.

But anyway, I'll just ask this simple question, if Democrats were in control, do you think they would just immediately withdraw the troops as Cons imply they would do?

2. If they had any sense they would
My fear is that they are going to get just as stuck in the quagmire as the Republicans are.

If the Dems had any sense they would have an immidate cease-fire, and an immidiate pull out.

Hand over power, and they'd have a good 2 years for all the Republican bitching and moaning, but people would like the no nightly deathcount thing.

4. I voted No, but at some point if the situation is so bad, we must leave
much as what happened in Vietnam. The situation called for an immediate withdraw. Bu$h would never allow that under Repuke rule.

5. If the goal is to reduce violence... They should.
However, the goal may be more than that.

6. Based on the results it looks like Cons are liars...
Even DU'ers can agree 15 to 1 Democrats will not just cut on run. Okay, Cons are liars... as we already knew.
