So what "Genius" rolls out Cheney right before the election?
Edited on Tue Oct-31-06 01:40 PM by underpants
Over the last week or so we have seen

Cheney taking part in the propaganda tour radio interviews and his "no brainer" comment

His wife taking to the airwaves to respond to Jim Webb daring to mention her lesbian book (and questioning whether innocent torture victims are really that innocent ;-) ) and flatly stating that CNN wants us to lose (just like their friends the Democrats ;-) )

Cheney on Cavuto with his BS about his wife's "slap down" interview with Wolf Blitzer

Cheney reading the script about Dems being the choice of the terrorists

--What "genius" thought rolling out someone with a approval rating that is actually LOWER than Congress's was a good idea?

--Is this going to be one of the excuses they are going to give for all those mystery voters turning up? (this would be one of their slimy little inside jokes no doubt)

Rove is a putz.

1. Answer: A desperate one
That said, who's the genius in charge of GOP election drives? Rove? Mehlman? These guys get way too much credit as political operatives, imho.

3. I was wondering that
myself. The Lynne and Dick show? What kind of a dumbass would do that? I guess they thought it couldn't hurt since Bush** flying all over isn't seeming to help either. LOL, gotta love it.

5. "The Lynne and Dick show"

I can hear the Beatles tune "Piggies" used as the intro music to the "The Lynne and Dick show." :D

You're right. What a STUPID thing to do!

What are Darth Cheney's poll numbers these days? -50 degrees Fahrenheit? Absolute zero?

6. And they're sending him to North Idaho!!!
Yes. Just four days before the election, the most important place for Cheney to be is....Coeur d' Alene Idaho!!! The reddest part of the reddest state. His mission, they say, is to motivate voters.

I find this absolutely hysterical. Are they afraid of losing Idaho?? And, his rally is being held in a miniscule hanger at a miniscule airport. Attendance is by invitation only, but tickets are still available.

8. But his speech will almost surely get it's own news story
I can see it now "Dems have no response to VP" or something like that.

9. He's coming to northwest Montana (Kalispell) tomorrow to try and save Conrad Burns
He'll be at the Majestic Valley Arena tomorrow at a Burns rally. A little bit bigger venue than an airport hanger, but I wonder how they'll come close to filling it.
