On the streets today...

Today I spent the day dropping literature for Jack Davis NY-26 ( http://www.jackdavis.org/new/ ) and Susan John NYS-131 ( http://www.susanjohn.com/ ) and had a wonderful opportunity to talk with about a dozen individuals who really made me feel quite optimistic about our chances next week.

A full half of these individuals were tempered conservatives who were completely fed up with the GOP and are voting all Democrats into office next Tuesday in attempt to reclaim their party and their country. "A band of crooks." "Thieves." "Criminals." just a few of the adjectives that were used to express their frustration with the candidates that they are faced with in 2006.

Might I add that in 2004, Jack Davis faced Tom Reynolds and won by a margin of only 12 points, ( Tom Reynolds -56% Jack Davis -44% )

GOP voter discontent could not be any more obvious as the election draws nearer. You want proof of this? Volunteer a few hours of your day in the next week, don't let the polls and the complacent media tell you how the voters feel, experience it for yourself first hand!
