Bush seems to forget that Kerry is a combat vet; he is not!

Kerry must apologize for any slip of the tongue but he must also remind folks that neither Bush nor most of his top administration ever saw any combat duty or even served in any capacity in the military. They are the chickenhawks who find it so easy to USE the military just as they USE the RW Christian evangelicals. Chickenhawks and faux-christians.

The bastards succeeded in making that irrelevant, or weirdly even a point in Bush's favor, in 2004. So the real history of the two men doesn't bother them at all.

The real history and abilities of Gore vs. Bush in 2000 didn't present a barrier, either.

3. It is an interesting thing

Glenn Beck today was going on about how few people, particularly democrats had served in the military - I only caught a bit, but it was the sort of rant that you wonder if he has remembered current history even slightly.
