Well, ya know... maybe Alito won't be so bad. Maybe it'll all be fine.

pretty sure it doesn't. Oh well, it's just a piece of paper.

7. No Choice but to Filibuster the Liar!
This man has proven himself to be a malicious perjurer and has no business being appointed to the Supreme Court of the United States!

This Judge, a man of impeccable memory, would have us believe that he joined a Conservative Princeton Hate Club, a supposed fact that, years later, he bragged about and trumpeted as a definitive and honest character reference on a government job application, but for some reason had only some vague recollection of it's support for on campus ROTC, yet could not remember or was supposedly unaware what else the Club stood for!

Investigations proved that even that testimony must have been a lie, and that in fact there was no record of an Alito as a member or participant in the organization. Thus he was again caught in a lie about yet another apparent lie.

Egads, even if he'd honestly admitted a rather perverse conservative attraction to this fascist club one could overlook the fact that he was not an actual active member, but instead he lied about both.

9. Lets hope he does not like the 'gifts' like some of them
I think the court is usually a little behind the country at all times. It seems to be riding the waves of what the country is doing and wants but in a boat some where behind the rest. It is like the Sen. used to keep the House in line with a little more reason. It is almost like the Republics are just fighting to keep power and makes all sort of laws when the country is really pretty liberal like most countries seem to be moving to wards. Must be hard for them to even think of not having the power as they are so sure they are right where the liberals seem more in tune with letting people do as they want. Makes this side seem weak.

11. I did not expect a liberal...I expected Bush to do what presidents before
him have done, replace the sitting judge with a judge who's views are basically in alignment with the departing judge. Women's rights are about to take a giant leap backward and it hurts my heart to see so many men okay with that.

17. I guess I'll put it this way..What I REALLY expected was much more
from our senators. A filibuster is not a scary proposal in the face of this judiciary monster. Cheers! :hi:

12. I AM positive about Alito
I am positive that his rulings will be a disaster for the common man, and he will consolidate all legislative power to the executive branch. Our Dear Leader will rule by fiat. (Been going on for some time now.)

I am positive that he will help the neochristian fascists create a new government under which the rights of the individual will be what they say they are. They will make sure that you attend the church of their choice, under threat of prison. (They'll have to come find me.)

I am positive of us becoming a pariah among rational governments in the world. We will ally ourselves with despots and dictators. (Oops, do that already.)

I am positive that our economy will become increasing that of a feudal state. If your master decides you are no longer useful, you will lose your home and place in society. (Little behind the curve on that one, too.)

I am positive that if he is not stopped, we might as well not bother to vote as it will become a forgone conclusion as to who wins, every time. (Damn, that one's taken, too!)

I am positive that I fear my government.

16. What 'democrat' would vote for this perjurer?
It's about time that some party in this country take a stand for honesty, integrity and Republican Liberty!

It sure won't be the corrupt, Limp-bowing, conservative, Tory religious fascists who pose as so-called 'republicans'...

May their chains rest lightly upon them.
