1/3 of The Party Are Traitors
15 out of 45. This is way too high--especially considering how many turncoats deserted back when Gingrich gave them cover. I think we really need a litmus test or some truth in labelling here.

1. I think we need to regain control of the Senate
So that we wield a bigger bat when these kinds of votes come up.

3. The bat would have been huge if the Democrats had stuck together.
They missed a real opportunity. It would have been more than stopping Alito, it would have been a giant billboard to the nation that Democrats are not second class citizens and are not willing to take it anymore. Sadly, well . . . you know.

8. Why is it that the DEMS
can't stick together??? They talk about division between the two major parties but there's so much division in our own party (DEM) that it's sickening.

2. And I think you are unrealistic
We will be a minority party forever if we start some exclusionist movement.

4. What's the point of being the majority if they all vote Republican.
If I wanted to be in the Republican Party, I wouldn't be on DU and my screen name wouldn't say "FormerRepublican"!

6. Don't be a traitor either. Be there in 2006 for the big win for Dems.

7. Way too high to survive,
especially against the most radical rightwing movement in some time.
