Gang of MODERATION Won! NEW RULES hold sway.
Edited on Tue Jan-31-06 02:59 PM by JamRock
Believe in fighting only when you can win?

Well, wrong time, wrong party!!

The Gang of 14 agreement means that “MODERATION” is the order of the day.

The fights for liberal principles will be uphill battles until liberals
win elections and capture the senate.

Why stand with Kerry to fight a loosing battle??
Because Kerry stands with us!

Because only a few like Kerry and Kennedy have the political security, financial independence, and the sheer balls to stand against the GANG OF MODERATION and fight for us. Without men like Kerry and Kennedy willing to engage the enemy, we will cede the ideological battle for hearts and minds to the pompous right-wingers who now reign in Washington.

Fight on!

2. I don't think Alito is moderate, to be frank.
I wouldn't be so against it if it were a truly moderate candidate, even conservative. But Alito is not moderate when it comes to civil liberties and rights.

3. Gang of moderation?
They appoint rightwing shitheads and the gang moderates us into compliance. Fuck them. We moderate while they take over. We moderate around the perimeter of their budding one party tyranny. What bullshit. What facilitating bullshit.

6. Moderation in 1933, Germany
Yup, there was even too much moderation for me in the day of
President (Bill) Clinton. And since the corporatists want it
all, and will not play within the law, lack of strong
resistance=collusion.

9. wtf?
"moderation" is a meaningless, pandering slogan and nothing more.

When the Gestapo apears on your front door steps, how do you "moderately" surrender to unjust, warrentless arrest and persecution?

How do you "moderatly: seek justice, when justice is denied to you by a fascist who does not believe you have a right to a day in court?

gawwdaaam it to hell.

How far extreme to the right does the political plumb line have to be positioned before so called "Moderate Liberals" wake the fuck up and recognize they have taken this country into the abyss of the fascists state?

10. Gang of 14
What In the fuck have we gained because of them. Bush Is the real winner. The Dem members of the
gang should be thrown out of the party since they have been adding Bush. We will never take control
of anything by going along with Bush.

11. Obviously Alito was not "extreme" enough to get the GANG excited
Got to accept that the GANG plan has tied Ried's hand and left it to the
Kennedys and Kerrys to fight uphill battles.
