Six Degrees of Seperation -- How close are you to a terrorist?
I am ONE degree from Sec of Defense Rumsfeld, so I wonder how many I am from terrorists? They can use the terrorist excuse for any of us.

Wtf are we thinking?

Ya know NY'rs decide that living in the city, with all of it's dangers is better then living elsewhere -- This is what our country is founded on. The lack of fear in the face of adversity, and the pride that comes with it.

How DARE they destroy our country?

1. Excellent point
I was thinking this morning that those who are willing to let chimpy shred the constitution because they think it will make them safer are COWARDS!!! I am willing to risk my physical safety for the ideals upon which this country was founded.

Keep floating the COWARD meme.

btw, I live in NYC. It is actually one of the safest places in the country--I can walk down the street with people of all races and religions, gay and transgender friends and even the occassional Republican and not fear that I'll be attacked for it. Really, it is the cost of living here that *should* drive most people out. :)

8. I agree 100%
The Repub that I work for was telling me today "Don't worry, our President will protect you!" LOl give me a frekin break! We were talking about the whole wiretap thing and I asked "Where do you drew the line when it comes to our civil liberities?" and his answer was "Where our President wants it drawn!" ERRRRR!!!!!!!

He likes to give the line "If you aren't doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about" but when I asked if HE was doing anything wrong and he said "no" then would he mind if the Govt put a camera into his home. Of course he said he didn't want that.

He then FINALLY saw where I was going with this and stormed off.

2. Tim McVeigh grew up about 10 mi away from me.
I'm sure I'm closer to blond, blue-eyed "Christian" terrorists and so-called Muslim terrorists.

4. Given my friends who are Friends, according to the NSA...
I must be one degree of separation from terrorists, too.

Actually, given that I wholeheartedly support the position of most Quakers regarding * and his illegal invasion.... Can zero be a degree of separation?

6. Terrorists have a minimal statistical death tole in the U.S.(cigarettes...
on the other hand, have killed millions in this country. Millions of emphazema and lung cancer and hardened artery deaths occured while corporate America hid the data condemning cigarettes for hundreds of years!
Just who is a threat to us? Lying moneygrubbing capitalists and their politician huxters, or threats from terrorists?

7. Rumsfeld himself is a terrorist.
The Iraqi people should have him "extraordinarily renditioned".

10. I am one degree of separation from some people in *'s misadministration
I am one degree of separation from Condoleezza Rice and other people in *'s misadministration, including * himself.

I knew Robert Zoellick, now Deputy Secretary of State, when I was living and going to school in Naperville, Illinois; he lived half a block from me. I knew him, his older brother, and his mother.
