PBSU Channel Replaced By A Christian News Channel On Direct TV

I was thinking about switching to Dish TV anyway, now would be about as good a time as any I suppose.

1. PBSyou is gone from dish as well.

They cite funding problems on their site.

2. I get PBS and the local PBS channels on DTV

I have Dish and PBS. In California. Is that the same thing?

7. PBSU was a specific channel that was like a national feed

channel 9402 on the DISH. Gone now.

4. While PBSU may be gone from the DISH also, there is FSTV and

University of California TV. These two are some of the most progressive on television. LinkTV is on there also so you don't lose that if you go to DISH. We don't get the Al Gore channel yet, but they're always adding stuff.
On edit FSTV = FreeSpeech TV. some very good, some very bad.

5. DirecTV did not remove PBSU - Shrub did...

cut their funding. so this one isn't DTV's fault.

DTV does carry CURRENT, DISH does not.
